AN EVENT TO CELEBRATE SPORTS ARCHITECTURE.
We are pleased to announce that ERRE Arquitectura will be participating in the Estadios Summit 2024, the premier event for the design, operation, and development of stadiums and sports centers, taking place on October 10th at the El Beatriz Auditorium in Madrid.
Our partner architect, Jose Martí, will be participating in the panel discussion titled “Sports Stadiums and Facilities as Urban Transformative Spaces.”
This session, which will be held from 10:15 to 11:00, will cover topics such as the analysis of the urban and social impact of stadiums in cities, their role as catalysts for urban regeneration, and the legacy of major sports events like the World Cup, the Olympic Games, and the UEFA European Championship in host cities.
The panel will also discuss the positioning of stadiums within city centers versus on the outskirts, the role of sports museums in urban storytelling, and how stadiums can serve as laboratories for urban innovation.
The roundtable will be moderated by Manuel Fernández, Head of Museums & Expos at Acciona, and will feature prominent speakers such as Susana Closa (Institut Barcelona Esports), César Frías (Morph Estudio), and Tristán López-Chicheri (L35 Architects)
