Costa de la calma Hotel

Inspired by the Mediterranean and a responsible approach to hospitality, the project celebrates the natural heritage of the Island of Mallorca while reimagining the everyday life of the place through contemporary design and sustainability.
Mallorca, an island of vibrant colors where the blue of the sea blends with the green of the palms and the deep red of its sunsets. Working in this setting was a significant challenge, given the steep slope of the terrain and our commitment to preserving the existing mature vegetation.
An exercise in continuity and seamless integration with the surroundings
This expansion project is conceived to foster a balanced dialogue between nature and architecture, positioning the hotel complex as a truly unique destination.
To achieve seamless integration with its setting, it was essential that the new design respond to the scale and character of the existing volumes. Accordingly, the entire intervention is unified by “dressing” the adjacent buildings in the same façade treatment, creating a coherent aesthetic throughout the ensemble.
The proposal then blends into the landscape—honouring the existing trees and terrain—while introducing a series of new terraces whose stepped roofs follow the land’s natural slope.
Mediterranean identity and communal spaces
Mallorca is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor areas, thanks to its pleasantly mild climate for much of the year. For this reason, the project emphasizes the creation of open-air communal zones that foster not only a connection with the surroundings but also with other people, delivering a truly collective experience.
The proposal seeks to establish an architectural landmark within the city through a discreet material palette that, in its simplicity, reflects the Mediterranean essence via nature-inspired elements. The honesty of handcrafted ceramics, the warmth of wood, the coolness of natural stone, and the softness of linens are carefully selected in this project to bring each space to life.
Innovative solutions in industrialization and sustainability
This expansion is conceived as a responsible, efficient form of construction that respects our planet. It offers a more sustainable way to build—one that adds value not only to the structure itself but also to its users and visitors.
At ERRE, we continually drive technological advancement in construction. By implementing more efficient industrial practices and processes, we reduce energy consumption and, consequently, greenhouse gas emissions. Innovations such as prefabrication, automation, and digital management optimize the use of resources.
Through prefabrication techniques, we achieve a significant reduction in construction time—a factor that ensures energy efficiency and helps lower both costs and delivery schedules, yielding faster and more satisfactory results.
The new building aspires to stand as a living testament to sustainable architecture in harmony with nature.
