Roig Arena Installs Europe’s Highest Resolution Video Scoreboard

The venue offers cutting-edge technological innovation in collaboration with the South Korean brand LG, featuring the highest resolution video scoreboard in Europe, with 1,700 m² of LED screens, an immersive Ribbon LED, and an iconic exterior “Eye.”
Valencia, July 17, 2025 – Located at the center of the court and adjustable in height, the video scoreboard consists of four flat LED screens with faceted edges, forming a seamless, uninterrupted image with an impressive resolution, the highest in Europe. Additionally, it includes two 18m² screens on the interior faces to display game information during any basketball match.
On the exterior, the “Eye,” the iconic screen installed on the northwest facade of the venue, has become Roig Arena’s distinguishing feature. Built with high-durability outdoor LED technology, it has a coating designed to withstand the most demanding conditions, thanks to its tropicalized and anti-saline treatment, especially in areas close to the sea, as in this case. Its size reaches 48 meters in width by 10 meters in height, totaling nearly 300 m².
Technologies Ensuring an Immersive Experience with Unmatched Image Quality
Inside, the Ribbon LED, installed around the perimeter of the court, impresses with its total area of 220 m², displaying dynamic content during top-level sporting events and cultural and musical shows. Adding to this is Europe’s largest indoor video wall, made up of panels of the same model, with a total surface area of 500 m², guaranteeing an immersive experience.
Furthermore, Roig Arena features 25 VIP boxes equipped with transparent, touchscreen OLED displays, each over 5m² in size, ensuring an advanced and exclusive technological experience for guests. LG will also outfit the venue with a virtual studio designed for the production of high-quality digital content, featuring a central 10 m² screen and other next-generation modular screens. These technologies will enable broadcasts, hybrid events, and interactive experiences with the highest visual quality.
