CLÍNICA ALEJANDRÍA WINS GOLD AT THE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2023
The project for the new Clinica Alejandria has obtained the highest recognition in the Excellent Architecture – Interior Architecture category at the prestigious German Design Award 2023.
The GOLD award is another international recognition that point out the value of a unique and elegant project, where the philosophy that characterizes Clinic Alejandria has been fundamental in its design.
AN INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR A UNIQUE AND ELEGANT PROJECT
The German Design Award are international prizes awarded by the German Design Council that recognize the most innovative and pioneering projects on the international scene.
In the category of Excellent Architecture and Interior Design, Clinica Alejandria has been recognized by an international jury of leading experts from around the world with the highest distinction.
According to the jury:
“The interior design of the new »Clinica Alejandria« in Valencia (Spain) captivates with an interesting interplay of shapes consisting of right angles and curved arches, which, in combination with the walls and ceiling faced in clay mortar and the accentuated use of walnut wood, create a unique atmosphere of sober calm and serenity.
Furniture specially made for the clinic fits perfectly into the elegant and high-quality ambience in terms of form and colour and underscores the high demand for minimalism at the highest level of design.
This outstanding interior design project on 480 square metres has created an oasis of calm in the heart of Valencia that promotes healing and, at the same time, a perfect place where medicine and education can be combined holistically to create something bigger.
Simply take a deep breath and relax.”
EXHIBITION AND PUBLIC VOTE
All winning designs will be displayed to the public exhibition of the German Design Awards 2023 that will take place in the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt/Main from 03-19 February 2023.
In addition, a public voting process has been opened to choose the favorite projects from among all the winners.
