STRATEGY
Under a regular structure and constant module, the project is organized into two parallel volumes separated by a central courtyard. These two pieces house the programs for early childhood education and primary education respectively, establishing a clear and simple functional organization.
The project is defined by open spaces with large glazed surfaces that allow natural light to enter the classrooms and the possibility of expanding their surface, thus enhancing outdoor educational activities and blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior space.
SOLUTION
Solar control systems have been installed, and the use of LED lighting with intensity regulation and presence detectors has been implemented. The false ceilings are made of vegetable fiber panels, which improve insulation and reduce noise pollution. All these measures have allowed the center to reduce its energy consumption and enable better energy management.
In addition, there has been a commitment to introducing vegetation both in outdoor spaces and in interior courtyards. These interior courtyards allow natural light to enter the corridors and provide cross-ventilation to all classrooms.
This new educational center also stands out for the use of high-quality materials and hygienic surfaces that are easy to clean, always keeping in mind the maintenance and economy of the center.
