New ERRE studio
Two meeting rooms and a resting space for the team directly related to the street, comprise the new ERRE studio.
Client
ERRE arquitectura, and all the work done with passion and respect for so many years by its team, have been the triggering factors to create a new space to gather all the people and all the knowledge of each one as members of this family.
Challenge
After 18 years of professional activity on Salamanca street, we needed a new space to, on the one hand, house our increasingly growing team and, on the other, adapt to the current demands of the sector and its clients. We needed a place in line with the evolution of the office and its projects.
STRATEGY
Same neighbourhood, the Ensanche district of Valencia, but new house where keep on growing with humility and work and continue evolving and doing what we are most passionate about regardless of its typology or scale: great architecture projects.
We wanted a working space open to the neighbourhood, establishing a natural and trusting relationship with its neighbours. We decided to provide a gradual layout to the different spaces, from the most public to the most productive areas. Hence the main working area, the heart of this new house, is located well within the premises, making the most of the scale and proportion of the space available, as well as its connection with an inner patio, providing natural light and ventilation.
SOLUTION
We pretended to create an open and flexible working space where the link with technology may promote new and innovative ways of working and communication between the different teams and departments.
We selected materials to create a warm and pleasant work environment, in line with the functional, lighting, acoustic and technological needs that the project required. The use of glass, as well as the different floorings materials, are designed to reinforce the idea of spatial continuity and the inner-outer relationship that underpins the general idea of the new studio.
