ERRE participates in the Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0 Congress at REBUILD, the world’s largest innovation forum for building, which will take place at IFEMA, Madrid, from April 23 to 25, 2025.
Jose Martí, partner at ERRE, will intervene in the session “Re-building in post-catastrophe situations: Valencia, causes and consequences,” which will be held on Thursday, April 24 (17:00 to 18:00 h) at the Main Auditorium SIKA (Hall 9). During the debate, he will share the strategic vision and action plans proposed by the architecture studio to revitalize the urban fabric and overcome the devastating effects of the DANA in Valencia.
“On October 29, 2024, Valencia experienced one of the greatest environmental disasters in its history: a DANA that flooded more than 68 municipalities, causing fatalities, destroying homes, and generating severe losses in the business fabric. This tragedy reduced a third of the provincial economy.”
The debate panel will be moderated by Lorenzo Correa Lloreda (founder of Futuro del Agua project), and will include the participation of Jose Martí, Salvador Lara Ortega (Dean of the Official College of Architects of the Valencian Community), Roger-Joan Sauquet Llonch (Deputy Director of the Technical School of Architecture of Vallès), Sandra Martín Vecino (Director of Building at Contratas y Obras San Gregorio S.A.), and Celia Pérez Rodríguez Molins (Managing Director of Molins Sant Vicenç dels Horts’ Construction Solutions business).
REBUILD 2025 is presented as a meeting point for global experts and leaders to share visions, research, and innovative solutions that drive the construction of more sustainable and efficient buildings. Architects, engineers, builders, interior designers, and other professionals from the sector will gather to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in sectors such as residential, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, offices, and institutional.
